Shotcrete is a pneumatically applied concrete mixture that is projected at high velocity onto surfaces. Widely used in both underground and surface mining, it is a proven method for stabilising excavated strata and preventing weathering. Available in dry or wet-mix forms, shotcrete can be enhanced with fibres and silica fume for added structural strength and durability.
